Q. Why do I have to register before I can enter?
A. Registering creates an account for you to use throughout the competition. You can use this account to submit entries, check on the status of entries, order your awards or update your personal information at anytime.

Q. What if I can’t find a category that fits my entry?
A. Every entry is different. If our judges feel that your entry is more appropriate for a specific category, they will move the entry to the suitable category. We are always looking to refine and update our judging categories, so if there is a category you would like to see, please email us a suggestion at customerservice@travelweeklyawards.com.

Q. How many winners are there per category?
A. There may be several winners in a certain category or there may be none. Winners are chosen based on the content of their entry; there are not a set number of winners per category. Judges evaluate entries to recognize distinction in regard to the various elements submitted – entries do not compete against each other-rather entries are judged against a high standard of merit.

Q. Who are the judges?
A. The Travel Weekly Magellan Awards is judged by a body of industry professional from a broad background of qualified individuals. All judges come from world recognized companies and organizations and have proven their abilities through their involvement throughout the travel industry. Judges range from marketing and advertising professionals, executives, owners and operators from various areas of the travel industry.

Q. Can I get judges’ comments about my piece?
A. Currently, we do not release detailed commentary or individual judges scoring for entries. As the Travel Weekly Magellan Awards is a large contest with a detailed and involved judging process, there is simply no way to be able to do that for each entry.

Q. How can I get duplicate award statuettes?
A. When entrants are notified that they have been chosen as winners, they will receive the appropriate instructions to receive their complimentary award. Each winner is able to order as many duplicates as they would like for clients, team members or anyone else who participated in the creation of the winning piece. To be sure only Travel Weekly winners are able to receive trophies, only your company (the company that entered the winning piece) can order an award. If a client wishes to order duplicate awards they must either order through the entering company or get the appropriate entry number from the entering company. Q. How long does it take to get my awards?
A. Each statuette is custom produced. We produce statuettes in the order that orders are received. Typically, statuettes will be shipped to you approximately four to six weeks from the date that we receive your order.

Q. Can I change the information that I would like to appear on my statuettes?
A. You may have anything you would like engraved on your statuettes however you are limited to 4 lines with 26 characters per line including spaces.
