Mike Foster is a London, Ontario–based travel industry leader with more than 45 years’ experience building, scaling, and mentoring successful agencies and advisors. He began in 1981, opening a UNIGLOBE agency he later owned and grew into one of Canada’s largest; that business ultimately became part of Nexion Travel Group, where he served as President of Nexion Travel Group–Canada through 2024.
Now retired from daily operations, Mike remains active as an independent travel advisor, industry writer, consultant, and investor in a travel-support services company. He’s known for practical, advisor-first guidance on strategy, client care, risk management, and the thoughtful use of technology and AI to elevate service and profitability.
Mike has served on several industry bodies, including the TICO board and ACTA boards, at the Ontario and national levels. He continues to mentor advisors, contribute to trade publications, and champion consumer trust, operational excellence, and sustainable growth across Canada’s travel sector.
